• New weather alertRuns when the DWD issues a weather warning for a location or warning area in Germany, or anywhere in Germany, optionally only from a severity level up. Warnings already in force when the workflow is turned on never run it; an updated warning runs it again.

• Find weather stationsFind the DWD weather stations near a location, nearest first, or look one up by its ID. Each comes with its DWD and WMO IDs (which the other actions take), where it stands, and the kinds of data it has: forecasts, hourly reports from today, 10-minute reports and the archive, with whether each is up to date. None found is an empty list. No API key required.
• Get current weatherGet the latest weather measured near a location in Germany or at a station: temperature, the weather in words, humidity, pressure, cloud, visibility, wind and gusts, and rain and sunshine over the last 10 minutes to an hour, with the station it comes from. Usually no more than half an hour old. No API key required.
• Get hourly weatherGet the weather hour by hour for a location or station: measured for past hours (back to 2010) and forecast for coming ones (about ten days ahead), with temperature, rain and its chance, wind, cloud, sunshine and the weather in words. Leave the times empty for the next 24 hours. Up to 31 days at a time. No API key required.
• Get daily weatherGet the weather day by day for a location or station: lowest and highest temperature, total rain, hours of sunshine, strongest gust and the day's weather in words, worked out from the hourly figures. Past days are measured and coming days forecast (about ten days ahead). Leave the dates empty for today and the next six days. Up to a year at a time. No API key required.
• Get 10-minute observationsGet a weather station's reports from the last few hours, one every 10 minutes, newest first: temperature, humidity, pressure, wind and gusts, rain and sunshine. With a location, the nearest station sending them is used. Bright Sky keeps the last 30 hours. No API key required.
• Get rain radarRead DWD's rain radar around a location in or near Germany, every 5 minutes from the last hour to two hours ahead: whether it is raining there now, whether rain is coming and when, and the most and average rain over the area. Can also return the rain on each square kilometre. No API key required.
• List weather alertsList the DWD's official weather warnings for a location in Germany, a warning area, or all of Germany: what they warn of, how severe (level 1 to 4), when they start and end, and DWD's advice, in English and German. With a location, the municipality it falls in comes back too. None in force is an empty list. No API key required.
