Steps a workflow can run in New Relic.

  • List accountsList the New Relic accounts this connection's user can reach, with their numeric ids.
  • Run NRQL queryRun a NRQL query against one account and return its rows, such as error counts, latency percentiles or any event you send to New Relic.
  • Search entitiesFind services, hosts, browser apps, monitors and other entities by name, domain or type, or with New Relic's entity search syntax. Returns each entity's GUID, which the tag and change actions take.
  • Get entityRead one entity by its GUID: its name, type, alert status and tags.
  • Add entity tagsAdd tags to an entity. A value for a tag name the entity already has is added alongside the existing values rather than replacing them.
  • Delete entity tagsRemove tags, with all their values, from an entity by tag name.
  • Record changeMark a deployment, feature flag change, business event or operational event on an entity, so it shows on its charts next to the effect it had.
  • List alert policiesList an account's alert policies, optionally by name.
  • Create alert policyCreate an alert policy to hold conditions.
  • Update alert policyRename an alert policy or change how it groups issues.
  • Delete alert policyDelete an alert policy, together with all of its conditions.
  • List NRQL conditionsList an account's NRQL alert conditions, optionally for one policy.
  • Create NRQL alert conditionCreate a static-threshold NRQL alert condition in a policy: alert when a query's value crosses a threshold for long enough.
  • Delete alert conditionDelete an alert condition of any type by its id.
  • List muting rulesList an account's alert muting rules.
  • Create muting ruleSilence notifications for incidents matching a rule, such as everything from one policy during a maintenance window.
  • Delete muting ruleDelete a muting rule by its id.
  • List issuesList an account's alert issues, by state, priority, entity and time. Without a time range New Relic returns the last 24 hours.
  • Acknowledge issueAcknowledge an issue, so others can see someone is on it.
  • Resolve issueClose an issue and the incidents in it.
