Steps a workflow can run in CoinLore.
- Get a coin's priceLook up what one cryptocurrency is worth right now, with how far it has moved in the last hour, day and week, its market cap, its trading volume and its supply. Pick the coin from the list or type its name or symbol; every figure is in US dollars.
- Get prices for several coinsPrice a whole list of coins at once and see which of them moved most, up and down, in the last 24 hours. Use this rather than one step per coin: the list goes off in a single request, so fifty coins cost exactly what one does. Any coin CoinLore does not know is listed separately rather than quietly left out.
- List the top coinsList the largest cryptocurrencies by market cap, in order, each with its price, its moves over the last hour, day and week, its volume and its supply. Ask for as many as you need up to 500: they are fetched a hundred at a time behind the scenes.
- Get the biggest gainers and losersSee which coins have risen and fallen most over the last hour, day or week: up to twenty of each. Only coins with real trading behind them are considered, so a coin that doubled on a single $20 trade does not top the list.
- Get the crypto market overviewSee how the whole crypto market is doing: what it is worth altogether, how much changed hands in the last 24 hours, how much of it is Bitcoin and Ethereum, and how the average coin moved.
- Get a coin's detailsLook up what a coin actually is: its website, its X account, its block explorer and its logo, the chain it runs on, its record high and when it was set, its supply, and how big its Reddit community is. For the current price, use 'Get a coin's price'.
- Find where a coin tradesFind the exchanges a coin trades on, what each one is paying for it, how much changed hands there in 24 hours, and how far each price sits from the coin's overall market price. The busiest market comes first, and dollar figures CoinLore cannot convert reliably are left empty rather than guessed at.
- List exchangesList the crypto exchanges CoinLore tracks, busiest first, each with what it traded in the last 24 hours, how many pairs it lists, where it is based and a link to it.
- Get an exchange's top pairsLook at one exchange: what it traded in the last 24 hours, where it is based, and its hundred busiest pairs with each one's dollar price and volume.
