• Get coin infoGet a coin's profile: its description, logo, website and social links, tags, launch date, and contract addresses. Look coins up by CoinMarketCap ID, symbol or slug.
• List categoriesList CoinMarketCap's coin categories (for example, DeFi, AI or Memes) with each one's market cap, volume, change and number of coins, or only the categories a coin belongs to. Use a category's ID with "Get a category's coins".
• Get a category's coinsGet one coin category's figures and the coins in it, with their market data, largest first.
• Get global market dataRetrieve global cryptocurrency market statistics: total market cap and 24 hour volume, Bitcoin and Ethereum dominance, DeFi, stablecoin and derivatives figures, and how many coins and exchanges are active.
• Get Fear and Greed IndexRetrieve the latest CMC Crypto Fear and Greed Index, a 0 to 100 gauge of market sentiment, with its label (for example, Greed) and when it was last updated.
• Get Fear and Greed historyRetrieve the CMC Crypto Fear and Greed Index for each past day, as it stood at midnight UTC, most recent first.

• Search DEX tokensSearch tokens traded on decentralized exchanges by name, symbol or contract address, with each one's network, price, liquidity and 24 hour change. Covers far more tokens than the listings.
• Get DEX token priceGet a token's latest price on decentralized exchanges from its contract address and network.
• Check a token's securityCheck a token contract for common scam risks before trading it: whether it can be sold (honeypot), its buy and sell tax, and what its owner can still change. Takes the contract address and network. A contract CoinMarketCap has not analysed has a category level of unknown, and its verdict then means nothing.
