Actions
Steps a workflow can run in ARES.
- Search economic subjectsSearch every Czech company, sole trader, association and public body ARES knows, by business name, IČO, legal form, CZ-NACE activity and address. Use it to find the IČO behind a name, to check a list of IČOs in one step, or to build a list such as 'joint-stock companies in Brno doing IT'. ARES answers only searches that match 1,000 subjects or fewer, and says how many matched when one matches more.
- Get an economic subjectGet one subject's ARES record from its IČO: name, legal form, VAT number, registered office, founding and dissolution dates, tax office, CZ-NACE activities, and its state in each of the sixteen source registers (so you can see at a glance whether it is a VAT payer, in the Public Register or in insolvency). An IČO nobody has comes back as not found rather than failing.
- Get a Public Register recordRead a company's file in the Public Register (the commercial register and its siblings): its file number and court, registered capital, the members of its statutory body and supervisory board with their functions, its owners and their shares, and its registered objects of business. Current entries by default; the full history on request.
- Get trade licencesList the trade licences (živnosti) a subject holds in the Trade Licensing Register: what each covers, its kind (free, craft, professional or licensed trade) in Czech and English, its fields of activity and since when, with counts of active, ended and suspended licences.
- Get a statistical recordRead a subject's entry in the Czech Statistical Office's register (RES): its main CZ-NACE activity and every other one with names, its employee size band (in English too), and its institutional sector. Use it to size and classify a lead.
- Get data boxes and premisesRead a subject's entry in the Basic Register of Persons: its data box ID (datová schránka, for official electronic mail) and its premises (provozovny) with their addresses and whether they are still in use.
- Get bankruptcy recordsCheck the Central Register of Bankrupts (CEÚ) for a subject: each bankruptcy on record with its case number, date, trustee and a link to the court record. A subject with none comes back as not found.
- Get a school recordRead a school's entry in the Register of Schools: its REDIZO, founder, head, contacts, and the schools and facilities it runs with their IZO numbers and types.
- Get a healthcare providerRead a provider's entry in the National Register of Healthcare Providers: what kind of provider it is, its contacts, and every facility it runs (hospital wards, clinics, pharmacies) with its kind and address.
- Get a political partyRead a party's or movement's entry in the register kept by the Ministry of the Interior: its abbreviation, registration number, status, who acts for it, and its current officials.
- Get a church or religious societyRead a church's or religious society's entry in the register kept by the Ministry of Culture: its registration number, kind and how it acts in law.
- Get an agricultural registrationCheck whether a subject is registered as an agricultural entrepreneur in the Joint Agricultural Register, with a link to its entry on the Ministry of Agriculture's site.
- Search addressesTurn an address as someone wrote it into the standardised Czech address from RÚIAN, the national address register: its official spelling, postcode, municipality and district, and its address point code. Use it to clean addresses before a mailing or to check that an address exists.
- List a code listList the codes in one of ARES's code lists with their Czech names: legal forms, CZ-NACE activities, tax offices, courts, trade licensing offices, employee size bands and nearly a hundred more. Use it to read a code another action returned, or to find the code a search needs.
- List change batchesList the change notification batches ARES has published for a register: each batch's number, release date and how many subjects changed. ARES releases one or more on working days and keeps the last twenty.
- Get a change batchRead one change notification batch: the IČO of every subject that is new, updated or deleted in that register, narrowed to the kinds of change and the IČOs you care about. Use it to keep a supplier or customer list in step with the registers.
