Where they differ

Three things to know before choosing n8n

Each one is a row of the table below, with its source.

  1. A free plan, not a trial

n8n's cloud starts with a free trial, then Starter at $24 a month, or $20 billed yearly, for 2,500 executions. Lodol's Free plan includes 100 runs a month with no end date, and the same 2,500 runs on Builder are $15 a month billed yearly.

  2. Nothing to install, update or scale

n8n's free Community Edition and its Business plan run on servers you look after. Lodol is hosted for you: there is nothing to install or upgrade, and every run is traced step by step.

  3. Single sign-on, hosted, on Pro

On n8n, single sign-on comes with Business, which is self-hosted only, or with Enterprise. Lodol's Pro plan includes single sign-on and SCIM, hosted, from $120 a month.

If you want to run it on your own servers, or read and change its source, n8n's Community Edition is the stronger choice, and its community has built a large library of nodes and templates. If you'd rather not run servers, and want a free plan and single sign-on without an enterprise contract, that's Lodol.

No. Lodol's source isn't public, and Lodol runs your workflows for you. If you need to self-host or change the source, n8n's Community Edition is free to run on your own servers under its Sustainable Use License.

There's no one-click import. Export the workflow from n8n, give it to your AI tool connected to Lodol, and ask it to build the same workflow from Lodol's steps; then connect the apps it uses and turn it on. Or start from one of Lodol's 186 templates.

No. n8n's library has thousands of templates, most of them shared by its community. Lodol's 186 templates are built and reviewed by the Lodol team, and your AI can build anything they don't cover.
