Steps a workflow can run in Pushbullet.
- Get current userRead the Pushbullet account this connection belongs to - its iden, name, email address and the largest file it may upload. Useful as a first step to confirm the token still works.
- Send notePush a note - a short message with an optional title - to all of your devices, one device, an email address or a channel you own. This is the ordinary 'tell me it finished' push.
- Send linkPush a link, which opens when the notification is tapped. Takes the same targets as a note: all of your devices, one device, an email address or a channel you own.
- Send filePush a file that is already on the web at a public link - Pushbullet passes the link to whoever gets the push rather than fetching it, so it has to be one they can open. The MIME type is worked out from the file name when it is left blank, and an image arrives with a preview.
- List pushesList the account's pushes, most recently changed first - sent and received, including the ones from channels it follows. 'Changed after' plus the 'modified' value of the newest push is how a workflow polls for new ones; Pushbullet has no webhooks.
- Dismiss pushMark a push as dismissed, which hides its notification everywhere it was shown - or turn the flag off to bring it back. It is the only thing about a push that can be changed.
- Delete pushDelete one push. Pushbullet keeps the record with active=false and strips every field but its iden, rather than removing it, so it stops appearing in a list of live pushes.
- List devicesList the devices on the account - every phone, tablet and browser signed in to it, plus any a workflow made - with each one's iden, nickname and icon. A push can be aimed at one of them by iden.
- Create deviceCreate a device on the account. No hardware is involved - a device is just a record - so this is how a workflow gives itself somewhere to push that is not everybody's phone. It shows up in the Pushbullet apps like any other device.
- Update deviceRename a device or change its icon, model or manufacturer. Only the fields you fill in are sent, so the rest are left alone.
- Delete deviceDelete one device. Pushes already sent to it stay on the account; nothing new can be aimed at it afterwards.
- List chatsList the people this account has chats with, each with the email address behind it, whether it is muted, and its iden.
- Create chatStart a chat with a person, by email address - they do not have to be a Pushbullet user. Nothing is sent to them: this only files them on the account, ready for 'Send note' with Send to set to an email address.
- Mute or unmute chatMute a chat so its pushes arrive without raising a notification, or unmute it again. Muting is the only thing about a chat that can be changed.
- Delete chatDelete one chat. The pushes exchanged with that person stay on the account; only the chat itself goes.
- List channel subscriptionsList the channels this account follows, each with the channel's tag, name and description, whether it is muted, and the subscription's iden.
- Subscribe to channelFollow a public channel by its tag, so everything pushed to that channel arrives on this account. The tag is the one in the channel's address, https://www.pushbullet.com/channel?tag=xkcd.
- Mute or unmute channelMute a channel subscription so its pushes arrive without raising a notification, or unmute it again. Muting is the only thing about a subscription that can be changed.
- Unsubscribe from channelStop following a channel. Takes the subscription's iden, which 'List channel subscriptions' gives - not the channel's tag.
- Get channel infoLook up any public channel by its tag - its name, description, image, website, how many people follow it and, unless you turn them off, its most recent pushes. Works for channels this account does not follow.
