Actions

Steps a workflow can run in Hub'Eau.

  • Find river gauging stationsFind the stations that measure river levels and flows in France, by department, commune, river or name. Each comes with the code the level and flow actions take, its river, place, coordinates and a link to its HydroPortail page.
  • Get live river levels and flowsGet a river station's latest water levels (in metres) and flows (in cubic metres a second), measured every 5 to 60 minutes and published within the hour, for up to the last month. The newest level and flow are also given on their own, ready for a condition such as a flood or low water alert.
  • Get daily or monthly river flowsGet a river station's checked daily or monthly values back to its opening: mean, highest or lowest flow, or highest water level, with the lowest, highest and average of the period. Without dates, the last 30 days (daily) or 12 months (monthly).
  • Find groundwater level stationsFind the wells and boreholes where France measures its water table, by department or commune. Each comes with its codes, depth, the aquifer it reaches, when it was measured and a link to its ADES page.
  • Get daily groundwater levelsGet a groundwater station's daily water table levels: the height above sea level and the depth below the measuring point, with how far each was checked. The newest level is also given on its own.
  • Get hourly groundwater levelsGet a groundwater station's raw hourly water table levels, sent by its sensor before anyone has checked them. Only stations with a live sensor have them.
  • Find a commune's tap water networksFind the networks that supply a commune's tap water, by the commune's INSEE code or by its name (which also finds the commune's code for the other actions). Without a year, the newest year published.
  • Get tap water test resultsGet the official health checks on a commune's tap water: each result (nitrates, bacteria, lead, pesticides...) with its legal limit, and each sample's verdict on the bacteria and chemical limits. Newest first; only samples that failed a limit if you ask.
  • Find river quality stationsFind the stations where rivers and lakes are sampled for their chemistry, by department, commune, river or name, with the code 'Get river water analyses' takes.
  • Get river water analysesGet a river or lake station's laboratory and field results, such as nitrates, phosphates, oxygen, pH or pesticides, with each result's unit and whether it was above the laboratory's limits.
  • Find water temperature stationsFind the sensors that record the temperature of rivers and lakes, by department, commune, river or name, with the code 'Get water temperature readings' takes.
  • Get water temperature readingsGet a river or lake station's water temperature readings, usually hourly, with the newest, lowest, highest and average temperature of those returned. Readings reach Hub'Eau some weeks after they are taken.
  • Find fish survey stationsFind the river stations where fish are surveyed by electrofishing, by department, commune, river or name, with the code 'Get fish survey results' takes.
  • Get fish survey resultsGet fish survey results for a station, department or commune: the fish index (IPR) score and class that rate the river's health, how many fish were caught, and each species with its count.
  • Find water abstraction worksFind the wells, river intakes and pumping stations that draw water, by department, commune, name or source (surface, ground or coastal water), with the code 'Get annual water abstraction volumes' takes.
  • Get annual water abstraction volumesGet how much water was drawn each year, in cubic metres, by one work or every work in a department or commune, and what it was for (drinking water, irrigation, industry, energy...), with the total of the volumes returned. Volumes under 10,000 m3 a year are mostly not declared.
  • Get stream flow observationsGet what the national drought watch (Onde) saw when it visited small streams, usually monthly from May to September: water flowing, standing water with no visible flow, or a dry bed, with a count of each. Without a start date, the last 12 months.
  • Get groundwater quality analysesGet laboratory results on groundwater, such as nitrates or pesticides, for a station, department or commune. Results from several stations come station by station.
  • Get river biology scoresGet the biology indices that rate a river's ecological health from what lives in it (invertebrates, diatoms, aquatic plants, fish), for a station, department or commune.
