DBnomics
Pull economic and financial time series from about 90 statistics offices, central banks and international organisations (the IMF, OECD, Eurostat, ECB, BIS, World Bank, the Fed and national statistics offices) through one source: GDP, inflation, unemployment, interest rates, exchange rates and more.

Triggers
Start a workflow when something happens in DBnomics.
- Dataset updatedTriggers when DBnomics loads new or revised data into a dataset of a provider you choose, such as a statistics office or central bank publishing its latest figures: once per dataset updated.
Actions
Steps a workflow can run in DBnomics.
- List providersSee every statistics office, central bank and international organisation DBnomics collects data from (about 90, such as the IMF, Eurostat and the Fed), with its region, website, terms of use and when its data last changed.
- Get a providerGet one provider's details: its website and terms of use, how many datasets it publishes on DBnomics and how they are grouped (such as Economy and finance, or Population).
- List a provider's datasetsList the datasets a provider publishes, in its own catalogue's order and with the group each is filed under, optionally only those whose name contains some text. A page at a time.
- Get a datasetGet one dataset's details: what it holds, how many series, what its series vary by (its dimensions, such as country and indicator), when DBnomics last updated it and when the provider plans its next release.
- Get a dataset's dimensionsList what a dataset's series vary by (country, indicator, frequency, unit...) with every value's code and name: the codes List series filters by and series IDs are made of.
- List series in a datasetFind the series in a dataset: narrow them by dimension (a country, an indicator, a frequency...) and by words in their names, and optionally get each one's latest value. Returns each series' full ID for the other steps. A page at a time.
- Search datasetsSearch every provider's datasets by words in their names, descriptions and series, such as unemployment France, and see how many of each dataset's series match. List series then finds the series inside one.
- Get series observationsGet a time series' values between two dates, such as GDP growth or inflation over the last ten years, as rows of period, start date and value, with its latest value. Says what was left out: periods with no value, and the oldest ones past Maximum observations.
- Get the latest valueGet a time series' most recent value (the latest inflation rate, interest rate or exchange rate) with its period, the value before it and the change between them, ready to put in a message.
- Get latest values for several seriesGet the latest value of up to 50 series at once, from any providers (say inflation, unemployment and the policy rate of several countries), for a dashboard or a regular report. Says which IDs DBnomics does not have.
- List recently updated datasetsSee which datasets DBnomics loaded new data for most recently, newest first: across every provider or for one, and optionally only since a date. Run it on a schedule to hear about new releases.
