Steps a workflow can run in Control Flow by Lodol.

  • IfChoose steps to run only when something is true. For example, continue only if an order is over $100 or an email came from a specific person.
  • WaitPause the workflow for a set amount of time before continuing. Useful when another app, page, or email needs time to update.
  • Wait untilPause the workflow until a specific date and time, then continue.
  • Repeat whileRepeat these steps while something is true. Use this when you do not know ahead of time how many times the steps should run.
  • Repeat for each itemRun these steps once for each item in a list. Useful for handling contacts, rows, files, or other items one at a time.
  • Repeat N timesRun these steps a fixed number of times. Use this when you know exactly how many times the steps should run.
  • Request approvalPause the run until someone approves or rejects it (the default) or, set to ask for a written reply, answers a question that needs human input, like a PO number, a correction or which option to take. People get an email and an in-app notification with a link, and anyone outside the workspace can answer from the link without an account. The run waits without using any resources, then continues with the answer: add an If step on approved to act on a decision, or use reply. Chain several for multi-level approval, or put them in If branches to route by amount.
