How it works
What happens on each run, in plain English.
Once a day, the rows on the 'Expenses' tab of your spreadsheet are read and each one is filed under one of the categories you have listed in plain language, your own chart of accounts. The AI picks exactly one category per expense from its description and amount.
The results land on a separate 'Categorised' tab as new rows holding the date, description, amount, category and source row number, so nothing in your original records is touched and anything that looks wrong can be traced back. An expense that fits none of your categories is left out rather than forced into the nearest one, a row with no description is skipped, and a row that fails is reported while the rest of the sheet is still filed.
You need a spreadsheet with an 'Expenses' tab holding 'Date', 'Description' and 'Amount' columns, and a 'Categorised' tab for the results.
